Born from the rural farming roots of the AF Group, Affinity Fuels embodies over 20 years of farmer-focused experience in making fuel purchasing simpler and more cost-effective.

The AF Group, initially founded as a cooperative effort among farmers, has grown into the UK's largest member-owned farm-buying group, boasting a turnover of over £250 million. Its members, who own or manage about 18% of the UK's arable land, are part of more than 3,000 businesses across England, Wales, and Scotland. Affinity Fuels extends this ethos of community and value, offering consumers a chance to join a fuel-buying network deeply connected to rural Britain.

Timeline

  • In 2003, Loddon Farmers and Mid Norfolk Farmers merged to form Anglia Farmers (AF), based at Keswick Hall. 
  • 2003-2007 AF merged with Samuel Rose Buying Group (Northampton), Borders Machinery Ring, Highland Business Services, Daventry Buying Group, Marcam and MDS Supplies and King’s Lynn Farmers. AF also began working with Orion Farming Group and Samco & Shrim Farmers.  
  • 2008 AF moves from Keswick Hall to a new office at Honingham Thorpe. 
  • In 2009, AF Affinity Ltd. was formed 
  • In 2019, the Company name changed to the AF Group Ltd
